“Narcissist” is a cavalierly stepping rap track from Las Vegas-bred emcee Xan Griffin. While the song itself is an unabashed swagger anthem, it avoids coming across as a bombastic, Trump-styled ego trip and instead comes across as a “big up yourself” theme song for a young soul on a mission to stake his claim in the world. It also showcases Xan’s talents as a beatmaker as the minimalistic-yet-bouncy production champions the young rap act “I’m a fly guy” verses. On the whole, this is just a crazy catchy track that deserves to get plenty of spins from here until the end of summer.

This clubby cut acts as a bit of a follow-up to a pair of collaborative singles – “Hundos or Betta” and “Business Mode” – that Xan recently released alongside fellow hip-hop artists P4 Da Don, Shiro Da Ghost, and Taz Malik.
