DJ Five Venoms and Atlanta-based singer/songwriter Kissie Lee just released a laid-back-and-bumpin’ new single titled “Crown”. The streamlined thump of Venoms’ production creates a taut, trap-soaked atmosphere that shores up the self-assured air of Kissie’s performance. On her part, Lee’s vocals saunter sexily one minute then erupt with gritty soulfulness the next. The choruses are especially infectious as Kissie revels in her badass-boss-lady role while Five Venoms brings a bit of Far-Eastern flair to the production. The single is taken from the duo’s recently released Kiss & Tell vol. 1 mixtape – which landed on November 26th.
