KELS – Just Let Me Go [Single]

KELS is a Pittsburgh native that commands a fiery voice and a stirring straight-talk delivery – both of which are put on full display on the single “Just Let Me Go“. The sleekly rippling breakup track overflows with vexed emotions as KELS fully welcomes the end of a broken relationship. After opening the song with a solemnly sighed “I never wanted to fall in love again…” she boldly croons about she has had enough of being in a romance that’s full of lies and empty promises. Only a few seconds into “Just Let Me Go” I felt as if the PA-based songbird was singing straight at me with no filter or hesitation. The singing and songwriting here are both great.
