Check out these three new tracks by Sin City-based rapper Super Villain by way of his Smoke In The Eye EP. The set is a mix of smoked out and wavy cuts that have that eclectic DIY appeal to them that makes acts like Earl Sweatshirt and Boldly James so well loved by a wide spectrum of hip-hop fans. The EP showcases woozy loops that feel as if they were lifted from VHS reels from some obscure foreign flicks with Villain‘s words flowing coolly along in a distinctive West Coast (or Southern?) twang. These songs feel like freestyles or experiments put on wax, but in a very good way.
