New music from singer/songwriter/producer Specyal T courtesy of the single “Double Take” – a sultry number that is all about spying that special someone and falling for them at a breakneck speed. With a deep and growling voice, Specyal T writes from the perspective of a woman who has been isolated from other people for quite some time and is now on the prowl for some steamy human interaction. The tone of her partially spoken/partially sung delivery is breathy, slinky, and evocatively seductive but lace with just a hint of danger. A sweetly lulling mix of clubby R&B and sweltry electro-dipped hip-hop that encourages audiences to shake off the stifling vibes of the past couple of years and to get back to the business of making real human connections.

Starting as a pianist at the early age of two, Specyal T began playing, with her foster parent’s encouragement, as much as possible on the family piano. At six, Specyal T officially began her piano training through the Royal Conservatory Of Music up until the end of her high school career—where she not only graduated with honours, but was the first black valedictorian in her school’s 100+ year history.
Sometime after, Specyal T partnered with Universal Music and Soul Kiss Entertainment to release her first single & video “Ice Cream Cone” commercially featuring iconic Canadian rapper Michie Mee. Since then she has released an assortment of 10 EP and LPs. .
