This Louisiana native is bringing the heat with her song, “Before I Make Change” and she is playing no games. Singer Drea gives us the business with her jazzy funk style in this R&B track. Her lyrics are amazing as well! I don’t know who lit such a fire under this woman, but I feel sorry for them! Not to say that I’m giving credit to someone other than Drea because this is all from her ingenuity. However, I’m grateful for that bittersweet inspiration because this track would not be the amazing work that it is without it. To be honest, I’m kinda feeling a little guilty after listening to “Before I Make Change” because I didn’t get to discover her sooner! I can sense she’s going to be an absolute game-changer real soon. I could feel that passion, intensity, and drive in this song. Her talent knows no bounds and you can witness this for yourself. It’s not every day that you see talent like this, not even in the mainstream. She’s got a lot of attitude and spunk and it comes to life in her music. I would expect nothing less from anyone coming out of Louisiana! I hope she gets more opportunities to represent while showcasing more of her talent.
