New music from Gyakie courtesy of her new EP, My Diary. Gyakie has a beautifully smoky voice that is soulful, sensual, and seductive. Being a young singer from Ghana, Gyakie incorporates the sounds and flair of modern Afrobeat/Afrofusion into her work to create a sound that is uniquely her own. But she also adds some hip-hop and dancehall elements to her songs, making them even more enjoyable to listen to. There is a lot of variety in Gyakie’s music, which makes for an interesting sound. Standout cuts include “Waka Waka” and “Far Away“.
