Doechii‘s new album, she/her/black bitch, is a collection of raucous and energetic hip-hop anthems that capture the essence of her bold, unapologetic and honest style. The album is a wild, fun ride that is sure to get you moving. The EP starts off with a bang with the first track “Swamp Bitches” featuring a constantly morphing beat and some great verses from Doechii and featured guest Rico Nasty. The follow-up cut “Bitch I’m Nice” is a high-energy track with a pulsing old-school beat and an infectious chorus. The EP continues with two more bangers called “This Bitch Matters” and “Persuasive” (which features SZA ) and a slower, more reflective number called “Bitches Be” (which features Jst Ray). The album’s production quality is on point and the lyrics are youthful, clever, and well-written. Overall, she/her/black bitch is a great listen and definitely worth checking out.
