The Two Can Play That Game EP is a collection of songs by rap artist Schama Noel, which chronicles his experiences in life and his path as an up-and-coming artist. The album is filled with catchy hooks and melodies, but also has a deeper meaning behind many of the songs. The album starts with the song “King Midas,” which is a swaggering freestyle that introduces Schama as an emcee and a young man that is determined to make his mark on the world. It’s a song about wanting to be above average in all things and not being afraid to take chances. Other songs which display more of Schama’s cocksure yet charismatic personality include “Whole Lotta Cap“, “Comfy” and “No Love” – the latter of which was released as a single, and it’s easy to see why. The song takes aim at fairweather friends and those that only want to be around you when things are going well in a very witty way. Other highlights on the EP include “Was Up, What It Do?” – which is a laid-back and easy-to-listen-to song with a smooth flow, and “What’s Ya Name” – which closes out the project on a sparkling and jazzy note. Overall, this is a solid EP from Schama, and it’s worth checking out if you are looking for some good new music to listen to.
