Keri Sreb – ESC [EP]

New music from singer Keri Sreb via the 3-track EP ESC – a set that displays the young singer’s mesmeric vocals and superbly crafted songs, which she delivers with pent-up passion. After the brief intro track “Carm N Prath Intro“, Sreb segues into a low-stirring and eerily beautiful piece called “Naomi“. Over haunting strings, fluttering guitar riffs, and clicking rhythms Sreb quietly reveals herself as a woman full of longing and turmoil as she navigates tricky romantic encounters with all the laid-back swagger of a woman who is unapologetically comfortable in her own skin. The closing track “Your Mess” follows, and it’s a bittersweet and revealing narrative of a woman who is doing her best to navigate the choppy waters of being in a toxic love affair. Sreb‘s voice remains consistently hypnotic and full of emotion throughout the album, giving it a distinct sound that allows her songs to stand out as unique and memorable.
