Cam Blair – Benet (feat. Vent) [Single]

New music from Jamaica, Queens-based rapper Cam Blair via the single “Benet” – a brash yet laid-back joint with a smooth melody that blends perfectly with Cam‘s signature flow. The song (which is a thinly veiled jab at Eric Benet and how he wrecked his marriage to Halle Berry in the early 2000s) casts Cam and guest emcee Vent as two men who lose the women that they care for because of their own bad habits. But rather than face up to it, they both try to play it off as if nothing happened. Cam and Vent‘s performances and BOGER’s production are exceptional and the whole thing comes together to make a song that is both catchy and compelling.
