Lierda – Stay [Single + Video]

“Stay“, the latest offering from the duo Lierda, is a stripped-down piece that grips the heart in a sound that’s genuine and unfiltered. This acoustic-soul track, with group member Jeil Eid at the production helm, combines a simple yet effective mix of acoustic guitar, futuristic keys, and upright bass. It’s Adrien Charafeddine‘s vocals, though, that truly define the song – vulnerable, haunting, and deeply sincere.

This bittersweet tune lays bare the struggles of our singer’s heart.. With lines like “Give me one more chance/ I’ll be on my way,” it vividly depicts a relationship on the brink. The song’s honesty is stark, especially in lines such as “You just need somebody/ I just take advantage of your body,”  laying bare the rough side of romance.”

Though not featured on any album yet, the song’s live performance video adds an extra layer, blending seriousness with an unexpectedly humorous endnote between the pair.
