Binary Star – Lighty [LP] + Ears Apart [LP]

New music from Binary Star – which, at various stages, has been a duo made up of emcees One.Be.Lo (aka One Man Army) and Senim Silla  as well as loosely defined musical collective centered around One.Be.Lo and various musicians. On the newly released albums Lighty and Ears Apart (as in “Light yEars Apart”) One.Be.Lo and company come up with a king-sized set that pairs his lucid street-griot style of rhyme with an consistent flow of outwardly beaming beats & themes – giving even more weight to the cosmic motif referenced in the group’s name.
