I try to stay faithful to the general vibe of the samples that I use, whilst obviously taking them in quite a different direction. For this tune (and album) I’ve been working with very expressive, cinematic euro-pop and funk, and I’ve tried to marry these with hip-hop in a way that sounds natural and satisfying.”
