They’re the kind of memories that only good friends can share about times long past. “This song is about friends that you can lose touch with as you get older. I wrote it about one of my best friends who I rarely see now, how I miss him and the times we had together”. The lyrics are poignant and relatable, painting Rapaport’s perspective on losing touch while turning the friendly jab of “ugly mug” into a term of endearment.
