MidaZ The BEAST, who has been perfecting his musical art for years and has been regarded by yours truly as a legend in his own time, is back with his latest album 87. The Florida-based lyricist has a very distinctive voice and it really shines on this album – due in no small part to the set’s melody-driven, drumless production. Producer Delle Digga gives MidaZ plenty of space to be a real showman with his flow, delivery, and personality. If you’re looking for some cool jazzy beats with some solid flows, MidaZ The Beast‘s 87 should be at the top of your shopping list. Album highlights include “Doo Doo Brown”, “Playalistic”, “4U”, and “Day Rays“.

This is an album where the reviewer really enjoys the majority of the tracks and still finds it compelling even after multiple listens. Listeners will probably be listening to this album fairly regularly for at least a month or until something the same or better comes along. Even after that, the listener will most likely revisit the album a few times during the year.
