Rapper and actor Elijah Malcomb is back on his grind with the release of his latest single, “LOWKEY“. Featuring a guest appearance from up-and-coming rap star Futuristic, this tune is a flirty and feel-good slice of early summer that’s dedicated to the fine art of no-strings-attached hookups and partying with a new fling. Elijah shows off his charisma as both an emcee and a singer with his verses – sounding cooly confident as he invites a pretty young thing (and her friend) out for the night. For his verse, guest emcee Futuristic offers up a bit of contrast to Eli‘s single-life antics. Instead of rhyming about one-night-stands, he dedicates his verse to having a blast with his one and only love – flying her out to different spots and having a blast as a couple. The production on this track is damn good as it’s sure to appeal to a wide swath of hip-hop and R&B fans. This is a warm-weather bop that is definitely recommended for anyone coming into summer feeling refreshed and ready to get back out there.
