The title of this song is just as unique as U.K. artist, Zara W‘s voice. “Coffee Shop Love” is a true love neo-soul track and I love how soulful it really is. Zara W‘s voice is so unique that it actually reminded me of 90s Amel Larrieux. I don’t say this to say they sound alike but I loved that graceful tone that both these artists give off in their voices. This is definitely a song to cuddle with your soulmate or even take a nice solo hot bath to.

Even though this is a romantic love song, for some reason it gives off self-care energy. It makes you want to sit down, relax and be alone with your thoughts. Maybe with some good old coffee to start your day. It’s very calming. However, there’s a secret ingredient there that most people would probably miss: a hint of lust. Now when I say this, I mean a different kind of lust. The lust of wanting, wishing, and hoping for something that may not even exist but would feel good, if you got it. It’s as if it puts you in some kind of trance that’ll have you wondering about it. This song as well as Zara‘s voice has its own kind of power because of that. I can only imagine what else this artist has in store for us!
