Jjacqz – Let’s Get It On (feat. Dark Damz) [Single]

“Let’s Get It On“, the newly released single from poet/musician Jjacqz, is a cute cat-and-mouse-themed love song that incorporates rap-like spoken word. I also loved the catchy hook with such a beautiful singing voice singing it! It’s as if Floetry collaborated with Afro-beats! I personally love it because of how different it is. The verses are very descriptive. It’s almost as if you’re living through what the artist is saying as they recite the lyrics.

This also comes across as a vacation song to me because my mind immediately went overseas when I first heard it. Imagine yourself walking on white sands with a refreshing drink as you listen to this track. To add, I really liked the different elements and how they came together to create such an original piece. Not to mention, who doesn’t like some good Afro-beat? I would say it was perfect timing for this track to come out only a little over a week ago. Afro-beat music may have been around for a while but since it’s picked up in the states, it’s been on a nonstop rise! So I can see why this song could be amongst even the greatest of Afro-beats music! This is well deserved!
