UK soul artist, Zemora Amour is already breaking my heart with “Fool 4 U“. Amour‘s voice is nothing less than perfect and original. I’ve seriously never heard an artist sound like this. Anita Baker is probably the last time I’ve experienced something similar when it comes to unique voices. Amour has the perfect amount of natural rasp. Despite the actual definition of raspy, we all know most singers with raspy voices are genuinely great! This is why I mentioned Anita Baker. I can see this artist’s greatness. Her voice is perfectly themed for the song and I can feel the pain emitting right from her vocal cords. You’ll get tragedy and regret in this song and it’s so eloquently put. If you’re heartbroken, this is the song for you. Amour captures the core of what it’s like to be a “fool” for someone; realizing that person doesn’t have your best interest. This woman knows exactly what she did when she created this track and I’m glad she executed it so well. The guitar alone will have you feeling the pain expressed on this track. Zemora Amour really gave herself in this song.
