K-Sway – No Friends [Single]

I have a confession for y’all: I’m a SUCKER for Femcees from the SOUF, baby! A big reason is because of the accents but it’s also because of how open southern women are about WHO they are. Yes I spelled south that way on purpose and I’ll explain why. K-Sway is a woman hailing all the way from St. Petersburg, Florida and she did NOT miss when she shot all that southern flavor in this “No Friends” track. I can hear the nitty gritty all in her flow and that’s what made me love this song! She put the “dirty dirty” in the “dirty dirty south” in this track and it did NOT disappoint! Y’all like Drake‘s “No Friends” but that’s just tasteful compared to THIS “No Friends” track. Not only that but it also represents what it’s REALLY like to have no “friends” and live in a world that forces you to stand on your own. As a lot of us say, I stand 10 toes down on what I say about this track and I’m just glad I got to hear it! That raw unfiltered vehemence of K-Sway‘s track is what makes this brilliant. I can feel that not only is she about this life but she’s LIVED this life. She is definitely representing the best parts of St. Petersburg and I’m here for it!
