Well steal my heart and hope to die, Andre Cruz can sing to me ANYTIME! Did I say steal my heart? Yes, I did and I wrote the wrong statement purposely! Cruz‘s voice was made for that Motown and prior eras! I loved this retro funk, OLD SCHOOL, neo soul, “I can FEEL your pain” music! “My Back Hurts...” is not just going to have you in your feelings baby but your back might be hurting too once you get through with this song!

I love the power that Cruz‘s voice has! I felt that pain coming right from his vocal cords, all through my spine! Now THAT’S not something that you get all the time with music. This track is a musical spectacle that I just can not get enough of. I got excited immediately and was ready to cry the minute Cruz opened his mouth! I also have to give a shout-out to the band that made this track possible, aside from Cruz‘s talent alone. This kind of pain is not easily captured. This song described that pain so elaborately and not just lyrically. This song is a timeless one and deserves to be heard a lot more!

Well done to Andre Cruz, your boisterously divine voice, and to Chris Lujan and his band, as they were such a force behind you!
