I am absolutely in love with Nate Amor‘s “Lose This Way” song. The pop rock song gives off a natural country sound. It’s moving and very relatable. “Lose This Way” definitely takes us back to a time and place that we’ve all visited. It’s safe to say this speaks to everyone’s journey on where we come to our own peace and acceptance. Especially after looking back on our past memories, including the painful ones. I know the song may seem more like losing a special someone but I’d like to think it can also be interpreted in another way. It’s about coming to terms with yourself and leaving whatever ideal fantasy you conjured up in your mind about what you wanted in life. Simply because the fantasy hurts more when you hold on to it.

If you’re anything like me, I don’t just listen to music for fun. The best part about music is the multitude of emotions it can make you feel. This song is great for self-reflection. No one wants to “lose this way” when it comes to life. Some dreams and ideas are deferred because they have to be. Amor‘s message speaks to that pain but also allows for better blessings to come once we let go of what is blocking them. Amor‘s voice is perfectly matched for the theme of this track and I couldn’t have asked for a better talent!
