It’s been nearly four years since Cordae and Anderson.Paak first joined forces on the J.Cole-produced track “RNP,” but the trio has reunited for another track: “Two Tens.” The song chronicles a comical exchange between .Paak, who is blindsided by his infatuation with a woman he recently met, and Cordae, who tries to provide some perspective on this situation but fails. Despite Cordae‘s best efforts, .Paak is set on his decision and continues on his impassioned (and costly) pursuit of his newfound love. J.Cole‘s production has a chill bounce to it that provides a fun and funky backdrop for the song’s tongue-in-cheek lyrics. When it’s all said and done, this is very fun, but still down-to-earth, cut and it’s great to hear two of hip-hop’s brightest stars working well together, especially with a producer like J. Cole behind them.
