New music from singer Twila Marie, who re-releases her single “More Each Day” for new audiences to enjoy. It’s a beautiful showing of faithfulness and worship from the Detroit vocalist that benefits from a light touch in the control room. The production is fine-drawn – consisting of kick drums, hand claps, and subtle strings and things – and rightly allows the singer’s voice to bask in the spotlight. While I may not be the most spiritual man, I’ve found myself appreciating gospel music more and more as I get older. A lot of that is due to my wife, who has exceptional taste in gospel music.

“More Each Day” was originally released as a part of Twila Marie‘s 2011 album Transparent, but was recently re-released as a reintroduction to the singer and her work prior to a number of upcoming new releases. Particularly, Twila and company are working on putting out a number of Christmas singles as well as a new EP titled Celebrate Our Love at the top of 2021.
