“Immunity“ is a hard-hitting, pull-no-punches track from Buffalo, NY-reppin’ emcees Benny The Butcher and Elcamino. The stark, staking-our-claim-in-the-game verses from both men storm out of the speaker with stacks of bravado. For his part, producer/beatmaker Rick Hyde set a suitably menacing mood with an eerie instrumental that seems as if he chopped up and rearranged a throwback horror soundtrack from someone like John Carpenter or a group like Goblin. Also on the track is B.S.F. shooter Loveboat Luciano on the adlibs and hyping things up in the background.

Elcamino and Benny are longtime comrades and have a long list of projects that they’ve worked together on – such as the tracks “Rayful Bag“ and “Shook” from the former’s Walking on Water album from last year. “Immunity” is the first single to be lifted from an upcoming collaborative album between Benny The Butcher and producer/label-CEO 38 Spesh which is tentatively titled Trust The Sopranos. Set to touch down on April 23rd, the album marks another link between Spesh‘s T.C.F (Trust Comes First) squad and Benny‘s B.S.F. (Black Soprano Family) team.
