RVA-based rapper Breez fires up listeners’ imagination with a new single called “Leo (DiCaprio)” – a quick-witted rap piece that cleverly references almost every Leonardo DiCaprio movie over its three-minute run time. The track opens up with a short cinematic intro (from The Wolf of Wall Street) that sets the chest-thumping vibe for the rest of the song. Breez is a force to be reckoned with in this track, as he shows off a sharp and charismatic lyrical talent that draws a lot of well-deserved notice. Producer and frequent collaborator Pro Knows Music handled the punchy boom-bap beat for this record – giving Breez a cooly flowing yet energy-building backdrop to spit to. A dope track overall that took me several listening sessions to catch every film being referenced.
