Kevin Maxim – Prototype (Outkast cover) [Single]

First off, I would just like to say, I might be a little biased here. “Prototype” by Outkast is actually one of my favorite songs of all time. So when I tell you I’m excited to write about this track, I’m LITERALLY ecstatic! However, even if I didn’t really like or know the song, the artist that did this cover NAILED THIS! I was absolutely FLOORED when I heard up-and-coming R&B artist, Kevin Maxim singing this song. His voice is alluring and captivating, to say the least. He did this cover justice! I would be very surprised if André 3000 himself wasn’t impressed.

To be frank, what’s NOT to like about this cover? I’d listen to this man all day, every day. Maxim‘s voice is the definition of pure raw talent! The end of the cover literally drove me crazy because of how incredible his range is. Not to mention the fact that this man literally sounds like an angel. That may be cliche but I think you should listen for yourself. You’ll see exactly what I mean. This cover did not disappoint and neither did Maxim.
